Here are the two things I've worked on this month - pastels of Monet's garden and sketches from my garden. Didn't get round to getting out the paints (lack of time/opportunity) so did some more sketches

They are such different styles to capture the beauty of the garden - the pastels are beautiful - capturing the complexity of a garden packed with flowers - like the growth in our gardens this summer. And then the focusing down on the beauty of each individual flower.
