Everyday Creativity
Join a welcoming programme of in-person art workshops designed to help you slow down, build confidence and develop strong, transferable skills in drawing and painting.
These one-day workshops take place at inspiring local venues across the Cotswolds, including Jackson's Art Supplies in Stroud (formerly Pegasus Art), and are suitable for beginners, returning artists and those looking to deepen their practice.
Each workshop offers focused teaching in a relaxed, supportive studio environment, with plenty of individual guidance throughout the day.
What to Expect from the Workshops
The workshops are carefully structured to balance clear teaching with space to explore your own way of working.
You’ll be supported to:
-
Improve your ability to see and understand shape, proportion and tonal relationships
-
Translate what you observe into confident marks, drawings or paintings
-
Develop your own visual language, preferred methods and working process
-
Build confidence through guided exercises and individual feedback
-
Enjoy a full day of focused, hands-on creative practice
My teaching approach is responsive and encouraging — meeting each person where they are, and helping them expand their skills in a way that feels achievable and meaningful.

“I love teaching locally — there’s something special about bringing people together to make art, talk about materials, and share the quiet joy of painting and drawing.
Whether you’re experienced or just beginning, I’d love to keep you updated about new workshops and ideas developing here in Stroud and the wider Cotswold area.”

-
stay creatively active between sessions
-
build a regular, sustainable practice
-
maintain confidence and momentum throughout the year
This is always optional, but available if you’d like ongoing support beyond the studio days.
