Last minute post...for May's Brief

Fascinating to learn about some of Harland Miller's process when painting - especially his use of light and colour. There was an opportunity to try out his process of layering cellophane letters on a light box to see how the colours interact

Looks great. I've seen his book cover paintings, but never these large letter shape ones .. love them. very inspiring, i love the process of collage and simply moving things around till they hit that sweet spot. i like the layering also.
