Everyday Creativity Live

Everyday Creativity Live (EDC Live) is a brand new three-month course running October - December 2024 and will combine live studio sessions with online webinars and a forum to give you an all-encompassing learning and supportive experience. Join the group and let's help each other rise to meet the creativity that we all have within and help each other go into the  holiday season and 2025.

When you think about your art practice or your creative self in general, what do you hope for? Many of us hope for energy, direction and productivity because they will enable us to evolve. There are three months left of 2024; less than 100 days. Depending on how you look at it this period could be a short or long one. Either way, it's true that with a little motivation, dedication and support, one could do quite a lot in this time. Why not make a conscious note that while the end of the year is surely moving towards us, there is the potential to step up and make the most of the time? Would you like to reach New Year’s Eve feeling so productive, inspired and motivated that you do not need New Year's resolutions because you’re already doing it!

Below is a rundown of what is included and how it will run.

Live studio sessions:

There will be a live session each week running on Tuesdays 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm, at CSA art studio, Stroud. This will be a chance to come together in an art studio setting to work together and learn new skills. I will introduce skills-based creative techniques in drawing, printmaking, painting and mixed media as well as time for you to bring your current art projects to the studio to work on with my guidance alongside the group. The emphasis will be on your personal creative development and you will be encouraged to work at home or in your studio as well as progressing your work in our live studio sessions.

Online element:

Included in the price is full access to the Everyday Creativity online platform and forum where you can share images of your work as it develops, receive and give feedback to others and keep yourself inspired and motivated. There will be two overarching themed project briefs that will provide you with inspiration and a structure that allows you to follow a creative cycle as you conduct research, develop ideas and experiment with materials and processes.
