Inspiration

As we work on the brief this month, don’t forget all the past work we have been doing. Remember to keep you eyes open to creative triggers regardless of how it may fit into our brief. The free course that begins on Monday is based on somthing we have done in the past- the poetry of everyday things. Just a moment ago the sunlight was reflecting off a car windshield infront of my house and casting beautiful shadows into my kitchen. I caught mayself thinking thats lovely but not this months brief! Recognising this as a fairly dismisive thought that is not playing to my creative side, I took a moment to play with photographing the shadows rather than choosing not to. Im glad I did as I felt a sudden sense of piece as I simply played with somthing that I liked in a creative way. Pure and simple - being creative is relaxing! Also who know how these shapes and forms may creep into my work?
