Dan has put up the next calendar of meetings - I note there is an extra / spare Tuesday this month, so next meeting is scheduled for 7th October.
Thus I can build in extra rapid on my water feature, or paint my ceiling with some care & attention!

Edited Again 27/09
New updated video after more playing. just need to move it into the garden now (maybe).
Edited 17/09 - video updated
Childs watering can added
I'd played with the stream just making it a flat plane where objects could be placed & varied at any time but feel actually wont really be played with in future. So making some sort of swirls etc.
The tipping green pot was simply too viscous so needs redesign or ignoring.
------------
We spoke in the meeting about this more than I'd intended
So here's the quick video of playing in progress to something.
I'd thought about doing something in this for ages and I just decided to treat myself and spend a little money and start it.

I've been building an idea in several directions, the pastels were fairly swift - and they might continue as I learn the effects.
I haven't decided which background I prefer

Collage of St Georges & Other Leaves
The collage I like and it took a long time, whilst I know "it quite cleverly explores various images together", but it doesn't really achieve the intent as it doesn't stand out as a collage.
I may get to draw / paint later on, I hope, but I also sat & observed over the day as per attached photos which I've "just dropped into" this document rather than also spending ages trying to arrange them.

I've been away, it was cloudy the first week thus the light didn't inspire the painting I had intended but the 2nd week was sunny. I did more observing & photo's than painting.
The paintings weren't that good but I liked I was trying to do..
Two photo's
This picture is just "me", I spotted it a dawn (way toooo early)
I loved this for the variations across the areas
And a collection of "work"

I stopped for a couple of minutes while cycling home, and right in front of my face, closer than I had intended, were there leaves in the light & shadow, which I liked.

I try not to use others ideas, but the roof photo was so tempting & interesting.
I went to paint this scene but got way laid and then my mind wasnt quite with it but will return (when the warm sun returns...)

Gelli plate Easter card, needed a touch of collage on left to rescue it from
abstract. many other prints didn't make it this far.

Here is a link to the stream recordings,
1st
This is the recent sound / video I took of the pipe / spring running continuously into the lock, that goes no where.......
Fairly pointless, but I felt something & need to record.
2nd
I referred to this in the discussions as I was reminded of a much better stream recording.
- Mindfullness -
There was a time when I did a lot of acupuncture and also mindfulness & breathing, many of the sessions suggest thinking of a small stream or babbling brook.
During covid lock down, I was longing to go back to the Pyrenees mountains - which eventually we did and went up into the hills- Mountain Stream.Le Lez, D'Eylie, Saint Giron, France.

I haven't really got into the swing of doing little pieces of art & scribbles in my pocket book, as I had intended, but have sat at some points and observed.
I've collated this for myself in the pdf & too many photos to post anyway.

Stroud Valleys at Crisp Spring Dusk
80% pleased with this & what I was trying to pull out, but that's why I have enjoyment with practise.

Started okay, but it's the sort of place I realise need drawing, so later on sort of knew it wasn't going to finish properly. Maybe another on way 🏡.
