Action:
Look for patterns, shapes, and interesting forms around you as you go about your life. Take pictures, make quick drawings if time allows.
When you draw feel free to abstract things down to very simple forms, shapes, patterns. Don't worry about polish, emphasise what it is that attracts your eye or mind. Play with the forms - what can you do with it? How many different ways can you configure the forms, tomes, colours, patterns or whatever it is you like about the chosen subject?
Think playful doodling - for when people doodle, they work relatively slowly and methodically and build something over time.
