Creative progress

I am sorry I can’t meet with you again this evening due to working til 7pm…it’s a nuisance but I’ll be back to my normal shifts after xmas. I have been taking things steady and fitting in researching / writing / painting when I have pockets of time. It’s felt really good to have this creative project to escape to. Here’s my work so far this month - some haiku and some small paintings (below). They are (sort of) winter landscapes. Any feedback is welcome. I quite like the first three paintings...4th seems a bit contrived and no idea what I was think of the disasterous 5th one (😂) but thought I'd post all 5 as I worked on them in series. Cold grey clouds dragging 

past pale pink winter sunshine

gentle hope returns.

Early morning swim

just what the doctor ordered

as winter takes hold.

Dawn light through bare trees

rain beats down relentlessly

the storm will soon pass.

Sweet smell of vin chaud

Christmas market lights twinkling

bringing joy and hope.
