Five more collages - this time abstract landscapes. Exploring ways to use light, colour and shapes to express a sense of place rather than representing actual features in the landscape.
Looking again at them now I’m wondering whether to crop them so that they are rectangular rather than square? I might try that to see if that makes them more ‘landscape - like’
These are very striking shapes, for me the colours shouldn't work out so effective but they do, I've also decided in my head that the solid light brown tricking me into it being blank yet at the same time I know it's not.
