Repeat...
I repeated the painted test pieces this time on paper. Painted on coloured ground on copy paper. Uploaded and digitally cut and pasted as repeat pattern. If I do the painting stage again I shall use 'better' paper such as cartridge or watercolour paper as the copy paper crinkles. I liked having the ground / marks on the paper before I painted. These repeat patterns were just for fun (and reproducing them in a smaller format 'hides' the bits I don't like so much!) They look a bit like a quilt type thing!

I do like how digital can be used [in an honest way] to progress a painting, or where a photo is used to capture as seen by the artist a painting or craft in an aspect of light conditions.
(whereas I can use it to create beyond my own painting abilities ! )
