Creative progress

This week I put up some "acoustic panels" in the two corners in the music end of my lounge. Entirely for acoustic reasons. But I've been quite struck by their visual impact. Something to do with the expanse of uniform vertical lines to be sure, but also due to the interaction of the warm oak veneer with the black felt backing. Echoes of the Cezanne portraits I posted earlier.
