Old politics
Today I'm yearning for a politics of yesteryear. A less cautious politics in which politicians wanted to let their values hang out. Who had something to say other than "ya boo", or - for reasons of popularity - to wear the values of others.
I remember Tony Benn being such a person; a politician who wanted his true colours to be seen. I probably wouldn't agree with him on everything, but today thoughts of him inspired me to get out my own colours.
