Summer escape
The sunsine is locked out by closed windows and blinds sadly - so shady inside - so did a small project (from a kit purchased a while ago - I thought it was Japanese slow stitching - sashimi. But realised my mistake on opening it to find it was shibori - Japanese tie dying - not what I wanted.
But ended up feeling very pleased at achieving a result, and learning a new technique - the fabric was white/cream - folds stitched and gathered tightly then dyed and dried - and when stitching removed the negative shape left behind. Not sure what to do with it now though!
