ART MAKES PEOPLE POWERFUL by Bob and Roberta Smith...
Last week I popped into The Harris Art Gallery in Preston (as you do!) and saw this which reminded me of our EDC group. It's by Bob and Roberta Smith. I think the quote in the blurb might be by the artist it says:
‘The arts make people powerful because art and design is about creating new desires. It inspires people to create their own reality, to get their own thing going. Fundamentally, though, art makes people powerful because art is about our freedom of expression.’
