Led by the Nose
This book, written by the late local poet Jenny Jones, is a tribute to scents in her garden through a year. Although it is prose it is written in very poetic and evocative language. I love it and would recommend for anyone who enjoys gardens and gardening. It goes well with my scent theme this month. I have attached a copy of the cover and the first page of the chapter about scents in her garden in March.

Thank you so much for sharing this Angela. What a fabulous concept for a book. I remember being struck by the description of scent the first time I read “Perfume”. A very different kind of book than this one but I had never before read such evocative descriptions of smells.
