Creative progress

An artist that is completely new to me is Rosalie Gascoigne, 1917-1999, New Zealand-born Australian sculptor and assemblage artist. I'm encouraged that the Art Gallery NSW states “Gascoigne had no formal art training, often asserting that her 50-year apprenticeship was in looking. She began exhibiting in 1974 at the age of 57.”  Here's a PDF with some info, images and links to her work. There are three short video clips of her work which are informative.
