Creative progress

I am a great lover of colour...usually! I went to see the Light Eternal Exhibition at Gloucester Cathedral. However I left early because I found it so garish and unspiritual for such an awesome building .I am probably in the minority.

So I rested my eyes on an unlit part of the Cloisters and did this quick sketch with oil pastels and chalk before going home.
